Biography

John Cornwall was born in England (Wall, Cornwall or Southwark, Surrey). (Some records use the spelling “Cornwell.”) He became a teacher of music in London and a vocalist, travelling throughout the country presenting recitals and appearing in concerts. He was associated with Sol-fa choirs and with the Whitechapel Church Young Men’s Association.
