orta de tribu Juda,
clara ex stirpe David.

Corde et animo Christo canamus gloriam,
in hac sacra solemnitate
praecelsae Genitricis Dei, Mariae.

The nativity of the glorious Virgin Mary,
of the seed of Abraham,
arising out of the tribe of Judah
from the lineage of David.

With heart and soul, let us sing glory to Christ,
in this sacred solemnity
