Italian text O Desir di questi occhi  almo mio sole  Che si longi da voi  m'ardet' il petto  O fin del mio voler  del mio intelletto  Dolce soav' angeliche parole.  O rose eterne  sparse fra le brine  Tener' e lievi  E piu che bella mano,  O cantar ond' il ciel  non pur huom goda  O lume del mio cor,  soav' e pieno  O mill' altre bellezze  alt' e divine,  Deh sara mai ch'io vi riveggia' et oda.

English translation Oh eyes of my desire,  my good sun,  how long before I am with you  embracing you  ending my desire,  my intellect,  Sweet, sweet words angelic.  Oh eternal roses  scattered among the thorns  To hold your soft  And most beautyfull hand,  To sing to the sky  even though he does not enjoy it  O light of my heart,  sweet and full,  Other beauties  high and divine,  I will never turn from you to them.
