Omni tempore benedic Deum:
et pete ab eo, ut vias tuas dirigat,
et omnia consilia tua in ipso permaneant.

Memore esto fili
quoniam pauperem vitam gerimus,
sed multa bona habebimus si timuerimus Deum,
et recesserimus a peccato.

English.png English translation

At all times bless the Lord
and entreat him to direct your ways.
And at all times let your counsels rest in him.

Remember this, my son,
for we lead a poor life;
but you shall have many blessings if you fear God
and retreat from sin.
