Parvulus natus est nobis, et filius datus est nobis , et factus est principatus super humerum eius , et vocabitur nomen eius admirabilis consiliarius, Deus fortis, pater futuri seculi, princeps pacis; multiplicabitur eius imperium , et pacis non erit finis.

German translation

Ein Kind ist uns geboren, und ein Sohn ist uns gegeben, und die Herrschaft ist auf seine Schulter gelegt, und er heißt wundersamer Ratgeber, starker Gott, ewiger Vater, Friede-Fürst; seine Herrschaft wird sich vervielfältigen, und des Friedens wird kein Ende sein.

Unto us a child is born, a son unto us is given, and the government is laid upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called wonderful counsellor, mighty God, eternal Father, Prince of Peace; his rule wil multiply, and there will be no end to peace.
