Biography
Ponsonby Tottenham Lucas was born in Rhossili, Glamorganshire, Wales. His father, John Ponsonby Lucas, was Rector of Rhossili and Rural Dean of West Gower. He was educated at Landovery College and Oxford. He became organist at Yarlet School and taught at the Bilton Grange Preparatory School. He died in London. He composed church music, a number of organ works, songs and a few part-songs.
