French text Pourquoy m'es tu tant ennemie, oncques ne te feis quelque dueil, tousjours pour accomplir ton vueil, j'ay heu desir et grant envie. En signe d'amour je te prie, regardes moy du coing de l'oeil. Modern French Pourquoi m’est-tu tant ennemie, jamais (je) te fais quelque deuil. Toujours pour accomplir ta volonté. J’ai eu le désir et grande envie. En signe d’amour, je te prie, regarde-moi du coin de l’œil.

English translation Why do I have to suffer your hostility, I have never done you any harm, I have always been there to do your bidding with great desire and enthusiasm. As a sign of love, I beg you, have me enjoy but the blink of your eye.
