Questo mio bene s'assomiglia a l'esca
  Ch'a bruscia sempr' e da poi consumata
  D'un picciol vento subito, subito, subit' è scacciata.

In qusto stato mi ritrov' anch'io
  Ch'ardo nel foco e lo tuo ben passato
  Per picciol sdegno subbit' èpassato.

Guarda se m'è contraria la fortuna
  Che son fatto per te cener' al vento
  Et hor hò perso subit' ogni stento.

Questa mercede riceuon gl'amanti
  Sol per amare e per feel servire
  Senza raggione subito morire.
