French text Sans avoir aultre contentement belle de vous je me retire. Servir ne vous puis si longuement si aultre chose de vous ne tire. Pour chant gecteray gemissement et pour plaisir auray martire.

English translation I thought I did deserve you but spurn I must your charms and take my leave. No longer can I serve you: you seemed to promise much, but did deceive. I groan when I observe you: My only pleasure now shall be to grieve. Translation by Mick Swithinbank
