English translation Hark, bells sweetly ringing! How greet they the land? Of joy is their message, That Spring is at hand. If thou in thy bosom Have ice and snow, Have trouble and sorrow, Away with thy woe. The bells of the snowdrop For joy seem to ring, Dost thou, like the snowdrop, Rejoice in the Spring? German text Horch, liebliches Läuten! Was will es doch sein? O selig Bedeuten, Ei, Frühling soll`s sein! Und hast du im Herzen Noch Eis und noch Schnee, Noch Sorgen und Schmerzen, Nun fort mit dem Weh! Schneeglöckchen rührt helle Die Glöcklein so fein — Wie ist`s, du Geselle, Du stimmst doch mit ein?
