Latin text Super montem excelsum ascende tu, qui evangelizas Sion; exalta in fortitudine vocem tuam, dic civitatibus Judae et habitatoribus Sion: Ecce Deus noster, quem expectabamus, adveniet. Clama in fortitudine, qui annuncias pacem in Jerusalem, dic civitatibus Judae et habitatoribus Sion: Ecce Deus noster, quem expectabamus, adveniet.

English translation Go up onto a high mountain, you who bring good news to Zion; lift up your voice with strength, speak to the cities of Judah and to the inhabitants of Zion: Behold, our God, whom we have awaited, will come. Cry out with strength, you who proclaim peace upon Jerusalem, speak to the cities of Judah and to the inhabitants of Zion: Behold, our God, whom we have awaited, will come.
