English text Unto our flocks, sweet Corolus, our bagpipe song now carol thus: Fa la la la la la. Whilst flocks and herds be grazing, let us our rest be praising Fa la la la la la. To teach our flocks their wonted bounds, on bagpipes play the shepherds' grounds: Fa la la la la la. The tender lambs with bleating, will help our joyful meeting. Fa la la la la la.

German translation Unseren Herden, süßer Corolus, singe nun so unser Sackpfeifen-Lied, während die Herden grasen, lass uns unser Ruhen preisen. Unsere Herden ihre gewohnten Gemarkungen zu lehren, bespielen unsere Dudelsäcke der Hirten Grund, die zarten Lämmchen werden mit Blöken unsere frohe Zusammenkunft unterstützen.
