French text Vien tost, dépiteux déconfort. Vien tost, car je vis en tristesse. Hélas, si ma douleur ne cesse, Il m'y vaudrait mieux être mort.

English translation Come soon, dismal discomfort. Come soon, for I live in sadness. Alas, if my sadness does not cease, I would prefer to die.
