Modern French Vous avez tort, chacun vous blamera lorsque ma (bonne) foi sera connue des gens. Quant à la votre, elle sera tenue plus inconstante que la lune.

English translation You are sorely mistaken, and everyone will blame you as they learn about my good faith and hold yours to be as inconstant as the moon.
