Latin text 21  Jesu summa benignitas Mira cordis jucunditas, incomprehensa bonitas, tua me stringit charitas. 22  Bonum mihi diligere Jesum, non ultra quaerere: Mihi prorsus deficere Ut illi queam vivere.

English translation 21  O kindness, infinite, supreme! My joy and true repose! O depth of charity extreme, Which no abatement knows!   22  'Tis good that I my love should give Save Thee to none beside ; And dying to myself, should live For Jesus crucified! Translation by Edward Caswall
