Latin text Maria Magdalena et altera Maria ibant diluculo ad monumentum. Jesum quem quæritis, non est hic surrexit, sicut locutus est. Præcedet vos in Galileam, ibi eum videbitis, alleluia. Cito euntes dicite discipulis eius, et Petro, quia surrexit Dominus. Præcedet vos in Galileam, ibi eum videbitis, alleluia.

English translation Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were going at dawn to the tomb. Jesus, whom you seek, is not here - he has risen, as he said. He will go before you into Galilee; there you will see him. Alleluia. Go quickly and tell his disciples, and Peter, that the Lord has risen. He will go before you into Galilee; there you will see him. Alleluia.
