  • (Posted 2025-06-24)  CPDL #85588:
Editor: Peter Lifland (submitted 2025-06-24).   Score information: Letter, 5 pages, 579 kB   Copyright: CPDL
Edition notes: A modern engraving based on the 1616 hand-written original. The other existing engraving has text underlay mistakes and this one fixes those from the original and adds slurs and similar modern conveniences. Landi specified continuo figures in the original, so I left in his numbers verbatim. But as a note to the wise: our organist ended up ignoring them completely as he couldn't justify them with the vocal parts. Your mileage may vary.
