Life
Born: 26 October 1685
Died: 23 July 1757
Biography
Although Domenico's fame rests on some 600 harpsichord sonatas, he also known to have written operas (Ottavia restituita,Il Giustino, Amor d'un ombra) and some sacred music including 2 Miserere, a Stabat mater and, for soprano solo, a Salve Regina. <ref>Baker's Biographical Dictionary, 9th ed.)</ref>
Some (if not indeed all) of the works on this page may be by his father Alessandro Scarlatti.
