Meg vannak vesztegetve és utálatosakká lettek gonoszságaikban; nincs, ki jót cselekedjék.
Isten letekint mennyből az emberek fiaira, hogy lássa, ha van-e értelmes és Istent kereső.
De mind elhajlottak, mindnyájan hasztalanokká lettek gonoszságaikban; nincs, ki jót cselekedjék, egyetlen egy sincs.
Nem tudják-e ezt mindazok, kik gonoszságot cselekesznek, kik megemésztik népemet, mint a kenyeret?
Az Istent nem hítták segítségűl, ott remegtek félelemmel, hol nem volt félelem; mert az Isten széthányja azok tetemeit, kik az embereknek tetszenek; megszégyenűlnek, mert Isten megvetette őket.
Ki ad Sionból Izraelnek szabadúlást? mikor visszatéríti Isten az ő fogolynépét, örvendeni fog Jákob és vigadni Izrael.
