Könyörűlj rajtam, Isten! könyörűlj rajtam; mert lelkem benned bízik; és szárnyaid árnyékában bízom, míg átvonúl a gonoszság.
Kiáltok a fölséges Istenhez, az Istenhez, ki jót tesz velem.
Elküld mennyből, és megszabadít engem, gyalázatra adja az engem tapodókat; elküldi Isten az ő irgalmát és igazságát,
és kiragadja lelkemet az oroszlánok kölykei közől, míg háborogva alszom; az emberek fiai közől, kiknek fogai fegyverek és nyilak, és nyelvök éles kard.
